  • Overview: SINGLE-CUT RAIL ULTRASONIC PHASED ARRAY FLAW DETECTOR (PA) Is used for continuous ultrasonic inspection of one track rail of railway rails of all types (U50, U65, U75, UIC53, UIC60, etc.) along the entire length and cross-section of rails points with semi-automatic decoding of defects,including control of rail base blades.

FAZAR 01

For railroad scanning (U50, U65,  U75, UIC53, UIC60, etc.) ultrasonic method is used
phased array ( transducer PA) and ultrasonic low frequency echo method (transducer UT)

The FAZAR 01 software allows you to set up control in a semi-automatic mode, has the "auto-size" and "auto-protocol" functions
that allow you to generate an inspection protocol in a PDF file and instantly send it to the control room via GSM connection.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

- detection during continuous inspection of all types of defects, including defects in the rail base blades (3D scanning);

- continuous documentation (registration) of inspection results in the form of defectograms controlled sections,  with reference to the track coordinates and GPS;

- information is presented in the B-type scan format, with data on the amplitude-time characteristics registered echoes;

- absence of "blind" zones of missing defects during ultrasonic testing by multichannel transducers on phased arrays;

- identification of complex defects under delaminations with continuous control from the tread surface;

- detection of corrosion-type defects in the rail base blades;

- the presence of a system of continuous monitoring of the state of acoustic contact.
