- Overview: SINGLE-CUT RAIL ULTRASONIC PHASED ARRAY FLAW DETECTOR (PA) Single-line ultrasonic rail flaw detector on phased arrays (PAUT) for continuous ultrasonic testing of all types rail threads (R50, R65, R75, UIC52, UIC60, etc.) along the entire length and cross-section with decoding of defects, including testing of rail base blades.
FAZAR 32+ (SL)

Automatic determination of defect coordinates, their sizes and spatial orientation

Full scanning of the entiresection of the rail
The FAZAR 32+ (SL) is intended to detect, register and decipher signals in rails, including in areas where simultaneous testing of two threads is difficult or unsafe: rails on bridges and in tunnels; rails, heavy train traffic; rails near the platform; turnouts.
The ultrasonic phased array method (PAUT) and the ultrasonic low-frequency echo method are used to scan railway tracks (R50, R65, R75 UIC52, UIC60, etc.).
The FAZAR 32+ (SL) software allows configuring semi-automatic testing, has the auto-size and auto-protocol functions, which allow generating a PDF test protocol and instantly sending it to the control center via GSM communication.
The method of movement-manual.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- identification via continuous inspection of all types of defects, including defects of rail base blades (3D scanning);
- continuous documentation (registration) of test results using defectograms of inspected areas, linked to track coordinates and GPS;
- information is presented in the B type scan format, including data of the amplitude-time characteristics of the recorded echo signals;
- no “blind” zones for missing defects during ultrasonic testing with multichannel phased array transducers;
- identification of complex defects under delaminations during continuous testing of the rail thread;
- identification of corrosion in rail base blades;
- system for continuous testing of the acoustic contact.
